George Lundquist's site  - We traveled with George the first week we were in CR.  He took us all over the country, teaching us the basics we needed to know about moving to CR, real estate values, banking, shopping, dealing with the government, medical system, etc.  Highly recommended if you're thinking about becoming our neighbors.

Costa Rica Living - Yahoo group of really helpful folks, most of whom already live in CR.  You need to sign up to join, but membership is free.  Great place to get answers to specific questions, like "what is this bug in my kitchen" or "where can I find a good mechanic."

The Tico Times - Primary Costa Rican newspaper that is in English

The Andalusian Breeder - Horse breeder we visited in Alajuela. We plan on purchasing a pregnant mare at first, gradually breed more Andalusian horses for sale to the rich Americanos.
