Horseback Tours
Come and discover the many waterfalls of the Diamante Valley by horseback!  We've got miles and miles of traffic-free dirt roads and jungle trails, with wonderful surprises around every corner.

Our private horseback tours are just that -- private.  You aren't grouped with 20 or more other tourists.  It's just you, your friends or family, a knowledgeable trailguide, and the happy horses of Rancho Tranquilo!

Here are  some examples of our most popular tour destinations:
Diamante Waterfall Tour

Nice and easy for all levels of riders.  Great picture opportunities -- don't forget your camera!

Ride through the village and down into the valley, along quiet dirt roads lined with gorgeous eucalyptus trees, to great spot overlooking the spectacular 600' Diamante Waterfall -- Costa Rica's largest!

Angel Falls

Ride along wide dirt roads where you can see up the coast all the way to the Osa peninsula.

This lesser-known 600+ foot waterfall only runs in the rainy season, but it is incredible to see.
Brave folks can hike the gnarly trail to the misty bottom of the falls for great photo opportunities.

It's a great ride for birdwatching!
Our Own Private Swimming Falls

If you're not up for a long ride, or you just want to go to a great waterfall and swim, ask about this tour.

This lovely waterfall is on a neighbor's property, and has been reserved just for the Rancho Tranquilo tours!

Ride through secluded dirt roads and trails, hike a little down the river, and you've got paradise!
